It is a great pleasure to see a really skillfull designer and a friend being successfull and on the red carpet too.
He is Luigi Borbone, a Haute Couture designer from Rome (yeah) that I had the chance to meet last July during his FW11 show and have a chat with in his showroom a copule of days before moving to the Uk.
The success I'm talking about it's exposure that his creation had for the launch of the Italian commedy 'Immaturi -il viaggio' in Italian cinemas.
Lavinia Longhi, a young and very beautiful actress in the cast, wore Luigi Borbone both for the photocall and the premiere of the film in the few days ago.
E' veramente un piacere vedere uno stilista pieno di talento ed un amico avere successo anche sul red carpet.
Parlo di Luigi Borbone, lo stilista d'Alta Moda romano che ho avuto l'opportunita' di conoscere a luglio durante la sua sfilata FW11 e con cui ho chiacchierato nel suo showroom pochi giorni prima di trasferirmi in Inghilterra.
Il successo di cui parlo e' la visibilita' che le sue creazioni hanno avuto per il lancio del film 'Immaturi: il Viaggio'.
Lavinia Longhi, una bellissima e giovane attrice del cast, ha indossato Luigi Borbone sia per il photocall che per la premiere del film qualche giorno fa.

The skirt is laser cut leather, finished off with gold and lined with fox fur.
That's been my favourite piece from the collection since ever! I do admire the justaposixion of the different materials and the way they are treated and layered.
La gonna e' di pelle traforata e lavorata al laser, finita d'oro con interno di pelliccia di volpe.
E' sempre stato il mio capo preferito della collezione! Ammiro la giustapposizione dei diversi materiali ed il modo in cui sono lavorati e sovrapposti.

The second look it's a long, tight white dress whose semplicity in the silhouette is balanced by sexy and classy cut outs on the front and above all the back that show off the Mediterranes beauty of Lavinia.
The Haute Couture days in Rome are near - in three weeks (28th-31st January) - and I can't wait to see what Luigi Borbore has been creating and preparing for another chic season and loaded with glamour.
Il secondo look e' un abito bianco lungo e aderente, la cui sempicita' e' bilanciata da una maliziosa scollatura sul davanti ed una sexy e chic maxi scollatura sulla schiena, che mettono bene in evidenza la bellezza mediterranea di Lavinia.
I giorni dell'Alta Moda a Roma sono imminenti (28-31 gennaio) e non vedo l'ora di ammirare cio' che Luigi Borbone ha in serbo per un'altra stagione chic e piena di glamour.
