Fashionable London - ABo London Luxury scarves

On a grey Friday afternoon I stepped in the elegant and cosy B.Hive space in Covent Garden to have an official view of ABO London first scarves collection. This new design company is the mastermind of two Kazakhstan born friends, Aliya Boranbayeva and Aizhan Bodanova - aka Aliya and Aya - and their product is unique and of excellent quality.

 ABO London offers limited edition, high-end silk scarves which are ethically made in the UK.

The scarf prints are created from original, impressionist genre artwork created by Aliya, then manufactured in London using environmentally friendly processes and are all hand finished. The scarves are made from pure silk and come in a range of sizes, which can be worn around the neck, hair or waist and in a colour palette of vibrant bright to subtle pastel shades.

In un grigio venerdi' pomeriggio ho messo piede nell'elegante e accogliente spazio B.Hive a Covent Garden per  vedere ufficialmente la prima collezione di foulard ABO London. Questo nuovo brand e' la creatura di due amiche provenenti dal Kazakhstan, Aliya Boranbayeva and Aizhan Bodanova - ovvero Aliya and Aya- ed il loro prodotto e' unico e di qualita' eccellente.

ABO London offre foulard/sciarpe in edizione limitata, di alta qualita', prodotte eticamente in Inghilterra. Le stampe sono il frutto della pittura, di stile impressionista di Aliya, poi fatte a Londra usando metodi eco-friendly e rifinite a mano. I foulard sono di pura seta e di varie misure, possono essere indossate attorno al collo, tra i capelli o in vita e la palette di colori va dalle sfumature piu' sgargianti a quelle pastello.

I was able to see and touch :-) the scarves a couple of months ago, before the whole production started, as I have been contacted by Aloya and Aya through Facebook to meet for a coffee and give them my opinion about the scarves. In just two months they have gone a long way, with production started and the collection full in stock, a PR company onboard and website launcing really soon. Below just a few examples of their current collection - Aliya has flown back to Kazakhstan to research the next collection - that you can see in full on the Felicities website, their PR company, before the site goes live. 

Ho avuto la possibilita' di vedere e toccare :-) i foulard in anteprima un paio di mesi fa, prima che entrassero in produzione, poiche' fui contattato da Aliya e Aya tramite Facebook per un caffe' e dare la mia opinione sui foulard. In soli due mesi hanno fatto tantissima strada, la produzione avviata e lo stock pronto, agenzia di PR ingaggiata e un sito printo molto presto.
