Il designer Matthew Williamson festeggia i 15 anni del suo brand - creato nel 1997 - rieditando in esclusiva per Moda Operandi 6 look delle passate stagioni. Un designer apprezzatissimo qui in Inghilterra, oltreoceano, dalle star che lo indossano sul red carpet e conosciuto anche dalla 'massa' per la sua collaborazione con H&M nel 2009. 

Il suo stile, fin dal debutto alla London Fashion Week con la collezione 'Electric Angels', e' caratterizzato da colori vivacissimi, stampe sgargianti e ricami preziosi.

I 6 look non sono certamente 'low cost' - l'abito qui sotto (il mio preferito) costa $6.365 - ma e' veramente un piacere avere la possibilita' di vedere l'evoluzione di uno stilista in una sola schermata e potersi soffermare su un nome che a volte si sorvola a favore di altri piu' longevi e conosciuti.

The designer Matthew Williamson celebrates the 15 years of his label - founded in 1997 - reissuing exclusively for Moda Operandi 6 looks from the past seasons. A well know and loved designer here in England and the US, from celebrities that wear his dresses on the red carpet to the 'masses' that got to know him for his 2009 H&M collaboration.

His style, since the beginning at the London Fashion Week with the collection 'Electric Angels', is defined by bold colors, vivid prints and precious embellishments.

The 6 looks obviously don't come cheap - the dress below ( my favourite) is $6,365 - but it's really a pleasure to have the chance to look at a designer evolution on a single screen shot and have the time to stop and look at a designer that sometimes gets overlooked in favour of long existing and best known ones.
