The Trenta7 SS14 collection Limen by Eleonora Moccia plays again with contrast. The brand is busy at the moment at the fashion trade fair SUPER in Milan, showcasing its FW14-15 collection - these are the schizophrenic rhytms of the fashion system, as you know- that it had been previewed on the Quattromani fashion show at AltaRoma  nearly a month ago, with the ankle pump Vicky

Ma andiamo con ordine e parliamo di Limen. Limite, soglia, confine indefinito; questo e' il significato, dal latino, del nome della collezione, ed e' anche il concetto attorno al quale si sviluppa il design delle calzature Tranta7 per la prossima stagione. Nuovamente un concetto che si rifa' al contrasto, al gioco di alternze e complementarita' gia' esplorato nelle scorse stagioni con Anima/Animus (FW13) e Reversal (SS13).

Let's proceed in order though and let's find out what the collection Limen is about. Limit, treshold, indefinite border; this is the meaning, for the Latin, of the collection's name, and it's also the concept around which the shoes' design has been developed by Trenta7 for next season. We have yet again a concept that goes back to the idea of contrast, a game of alternations and complementarity, that the brand has already explored in the past collections Anima/Animus (FW13) and Reverasl (SS13)

Questa volta il contrasto e' concentrato tutto sul piede, in un alternarsi di pieni e di vuoti, di trasparenze e coperture, di leggerezza e severita' ed infine, nuovamente di maschile e femminile. Non mancan la firma Tranta7 neanche in questa entusiasmante collezione, la chiusua a cartella e come novita' l'uso di PVC trasparente o full colour.

This time the contrast is all focused on the foot, with the alteration of empty and full parts, trasparency and coverage, lightness and severity, and last but not least, again, masculinity and femininity. Trenta 7 signature feature is there too, its iconic briefcase clasp and as a new one the use of PVC both in its trasparency or in full colour.
